First of all we were deciding on what us as a group are going to be doing and then we found out what location we are going to be using and then we put them two as a one piece and that was where we made the storyboards. We shot the film inside a building in a room which had a lot of tables and chairs which represented that when Haarim walked into the room, we noticed from there that this is going to be a serious confidential meeting, we chose the room because we were doing this film on thriller based genre so we needed a room where no one is there and it is isolated. We chose this location because there was no one there and it was a suitable place for the film that we were doing it for. The equipment that we used was two cameras, some room furniture and a folder filled with papers.
The things that went well was in the editing we put all of the scenes together and edited in the sound track but alongside with that, the acting that occurred during the making of the film was good. The difficulties that we faced were where the 180-degree rule where we were finding it hard to film at an angle. My impression of the film that we made was good and some of it was bad, but overall I say that it went good but we had broken the 180-degree rule and which we have to re-film it again but recovering from that our editing was good. To improve that film we have to add in more dialogue and we have to not break the 180-degree rule this time.

Panic Room
Panic Room
Panic Room is a Thriller genre based film. Panic Room about a single woman who is divorced who moves into a house with her daughter, they see a room where the film is all based on. The opening sequence of Panic Room has very thriller music to the background. We see that there a buildings everywhere and no one is to be seen so in other words, its where the place is deserted and no one can help and this gives the audience a head start to what the film is going to be based on thriller/horror. The music that is used in the opening scene is to represent the film to be a serious thriller film that is not comedy or some other genre.
In the opening sequence of the film, we see that there a lot of buildings and no one is to be seen and the place is deserted and if someone does need help, then there will be no one there to help them. The characters we are introduced are 2 women and a girl. We don’t get to see much of them in the two minutes of the film. The opening sequence that reveals about the setting of the film in a way to the audience that they can get a head start to what is going to happen in the film, and that is where we can see that someone is going to be in trouble and no-one is going to be there to help them so that they have to help themselves. The camera shots that are used in the opening sequence are mostly Ariel shots and Long shots and this is to show how big the place is and mostly what kind of environment the film is going to be set in. The editing in the opening sequence was where the writings or the credits are edited in to the opening film to show to the audience that whom this films is made by and who’s the main character, the speed of the film is medium and not so quick and easy to read the credits and rhythm of the film is thriller and this tells us as audience that this films going to be horror.
The Sound in the opening sequence is horror/thriller non-diegatic sound. The instruments that are used are heavy noted where this shows that the film is going to be horror and some action is going to be present. The tempo of the sound is slow and sad and the volume is where the sound note goes high and then the next note goes low and this is typical horror/thriller music. The opening credits have been presented on buildings and they are very bold and big which is showing that the film is all going to be based inside of a large building, the colour of the writing is white which is so that the audience can easily read it.
